What to Wear When You’re A Bride…
When it comes to my wedding, I'm typically thinking of one dress – THE dress! Throughout planning, however, I've discovered that looking the part of the bride comes up for many occasions throughout the planning process. Although there's nothing wrong with wearing your usual rotation for these events, there's only one time in your life you're expected to wear white... I say embrace it!

This dress is begging to be worn sipping mimosas. I love the empire waist and sweet floral details. Dainty and certainly bridal, this pretty dress has been added to my cart!
Admittedly, the rehearsal dinner is the dress I’m most excited to shop for. I love that it can be more fun or casual than THE dress. This option is perfect for feeling bridal, but could still be worn again and again post-wedding.
The “getting ready” shots have become a standard in the wedding day photo suite. In order to strike a balance between comfy and chic, I love this PJ set that’s complete with a feather trim. Having a button-down is a must for me, too… I’m not about to mess up my make-up!
Something cute, frilly, and white to wear out to lunch with your core group to celebrate the upcoming day. This is another dress that screams versatility and could be worn to a shower or two as well.
A little fancier than and everyday day dress, this gorgeous cream dress is dressy and bridal without going overboard. The delicate pleats make it feel special. Picture it with strappy heels for your shower, and boots and a scarf come fall.
First, can you believe this stunner is $35!? I’m obsessed with this dress. The delicate silhouette and lovely pattern are the ideal combination for an evening shower. It’s also the perfect option for the bride who wants to switch up the all-white-all-the-time routine.
For if you’re just ready to give up and elope already! (I’m kidding, unless… 😂). But truly, if you’re dealing with the Covid of it all or opting for a smaller-scale event, I could not imagine a more perfect dress!
For the brides who aren’t opting for the body-con dresses (a la bachelorette parties circa 2007), here’s the dress for you. The sequins say, “I’m ready to party” but the white says, “remember, I’m the bride.” The cut is oh-so-chic… try it out with some cream colored combat boots, grab your friends, and hit the town!
